Letter to Me

I am writing a letter to myself in the future. I know when I get older I will have different priorities and friends but I want to remember my life as it is now.

My favorite family memories are on holidays. Every thanksgiving and Christmas my family has big get-togethers. We have parties for each side of my family. I love seeing all of my relatives that I do not get to see often.

I have many school memories, but a few stand out more than others. During my 7th grade year, we took a trip to San Antonio. This trip was so much fun because we got to spend time with our class, and do things we could not do in Celeste. Mrs. Crutcher really made this trip memorable for me as well as my other classmates.

One of the things I am most proud of is making the Varsity Girls Basketball team. I worked hard all year long to make the varsity team. Achieving this goal showed me that hard work and dedication can really pay off.

There are many important things in my life right now. My family and friends are the two most important. Spending time with my parents and my brothers’ families is very comforting. My friends are very important to me. I love spending time with them as much as possible. My grades in school are also very important. Basketball is another major part of my life.

As of right now, I am worried about my grades and where I am going to go for college. Although college is two years away, I am worried about leaving my friends behind. I want to be able to support myself without my parents help. I also worry about basketball.

I love spending time with my family and my friends. I love going to the movies with my friends every weekend. I like the fact that my friends and I can act crazy and stupid and not care what people think about us. I play basketball and tennis for fun.

I plan to be a dental hygienist. I know that this occupation will take a lot of schooling, but I am willing to work hard to become a dental hygienist. Hopefully after I finish school I will have good job that I enjoy.

After I have my career established and have a good job, I plan on maybe starting a family. I definitely do not want to have children before I am finished with college. I have to be able to support my children.
