If I could write a letter to myself and send it forward in time to myself in 10 or 20 years, I would tell myself these things..

I love getting told a few of mom's favorite memories of when I was little. Do you remember them? I really like the one where mom was trying to eat a chocolate bar and not have to share. Even when she was on the other side of the house I apparently heard the wrapper crinkle. Mom said that she heard the "pitter patter" of my feet and that's when she knew she was caught. She says that I walked into the kitchen looking at her and said "chocolate".

I can remember one of my favorite memories from last summer. The drum corp had gone to Oklahoma for camp. It was the first time I had been out of the state of Texas. Do you remember? Mom drove Katie, Logan c., and I up there, and I couldn't sleep even though it was around 6 am and I had stayed up really late the night before. When we reached the camp site I was practically jumping out of the car. It was a big place with lots of people and I couldn't be more excited. We walked into the main lodge and there were even more people in there. I remember being so scared that I would do something so unbelievably stupid that they would laugh at me and none of the people would want to be seen with me. That worrying was pointless though because in the first few hours of being there a girl came up to me and introduced herself as Cicily. We sat by the edge of the lake and talked for a bit and then her friends called her and she left with them. It all went easier from there. Especially when they had the game night. That was so much fun.

I also remeber back in Elementary UIL I was in listening. Weirdly enough, Listening UIL was my strong suit. I got a lot of golden medals for the listening contest. Whenever I would tell people about my listening medals they get shocked. Not many people thought that I would be good at that, because I wasn't very good at listening when it came to anything outside of the listening UIL contests and practices But shockingly I was very good at that in UIL.

I know that you remember how important soft ball and drum corp were to me. Drum corp was especially important to me. Even with the pain of holding the 2nd biggest bass drum up for the whole football game. I loved it. Though I think next year I'll do the snare. How did that turn out? Did I try for snare? If so then I hope I was really good. I love softball, too. I would really like to be better at it though, so I don't make a fool of myself. Did I get better?

Do you remember the times I worried? I did that a lot, especially when it came to my friends and family. They mean the world to me. Why am I telling you this? You should know this better than anyone. I worried about passing my classes, too. That one I know that you remember really well. Struggling to try to pass Mrs. Lee's class and every other class along with it. That was always fun. Did I pass my many classes? I hope I did.

Speaking of fun times, do you remember the Wal*mart trips? Oh, those where so much fun!! Especially when there were more people. It would be awesome if we played "marco polo" in wal*mart. Then there's the park trips. Those were fun too. My favorite things to do on those trips was to swing and sit on the marry-go-round thing. There were always some interesting talks on the marry-go-round. I always think of my birthday party when everyone was hyped up on different energy drinks. That was the most fun I had ever had in a park.

I really hope that I get to be a photographer. Or maybe a writer. It doesn't matter just as long as I got a job that I loved and had fun doing everyday.
