My favorite family memory is when I saw my mom return to me in Mexico from the U.S. after being gone for a year and a half. I remember coming out of my grandmother’s house in Galiana and seeing my mother for the first time in many months, which for a 4 year old seems like and eternity without his mother. I am positively convinced that was the happiest I have ever felt in my entire life.
