Letter to Me

If I could write a letter to myself I would send it into the future to myself at 44. I would tell of memories long forgotten and of goals that are very important.

My favorite family memory was when I was 17 and I went to the lake with my family and girlfriend, Melissa. We spent days skiing, fishing, swimming, relaxing, and just having fun. We had no worries and wished it would last forever.

My favorite school memory is when we played Cumby my junior year. I scored the first two touchdowns of my life that game. I will never forget how I felt as that ball seemed to float into my hands as I ran into the end zone. I felt more exhilarated that I ever had before.

I would recal my greatest acompishment so far in my life. The night I scored twenty seven points in a basketball game my junior year. I have never been more proud of myself than I was that night.

I would write about how much I care about my girlfriend and tell myself that if I’m still with her, to always be sweet to her and give her everything she wants because she deserves it.

I would remind myself how worried I am about getting into a good school. I want to get a good job so I can better provide for the amazing family I will some day have.

I would remind myself of how much fun fishing and hunting are and never give up the things that I love to do.

I would remind myself of my goals to be an engineer, and of my plans of moving to Colorado so I can be way up in the mountians doing the things I love most, like hunting and fishing. It would also be a great place to raise a family.
