| Celeste Students and their families were invited to attend the Beta Club Scholastic Book Fair Family Night on Monday, November 30, 2009. Families shopped the book fair and enjoyed eating donut holes decorated with flags from around the world, drinking hot cocoa, listening to stories read by high school students and pictures with Clifford the Big Red Dog. The book fair theme, “Read around the World”, encouraged students to come dressed in outfits that represented cultures from around the world. The Celeste High School Beta Club sponsors this event each year to help raise money for Beta Club scholarships that are given out during high school graduation. Celeste High School Book Club members also volunteered to help. The Celeste ISD libraries benefit from the book fair by earning free books. | |||||||||
