Visits Celeste Elementary

Celeste Elementary students were very excited to have Arkansas Author, David M. Sargent, Jr. visit on Friday, October 30^th.  Mr. Sargent talked to the students and teachers about writing, and he explained how his dogs inspired him to write about the silly things they do and their crazy antics!  He encouraged the students to write a book of their own.  Students were delighted to meet Emma, Tatum, Daphne and Spike, the characters of Mr. Sargent’s books.  As an added treat, Mr. Sargent chose several teachers from the audience to hold the dogs during his presentation.
