Celeste Elementary makes Honor Roll

Celeste Elementary School is proud to accept the Texas Business & Education Coalition’s distinguished award of the TBEC Honor Roll for 2007.  Less than 5 percent of Texas public schools will be so honored with this award. Celeste Elementary has received this award two years in a row.

The TBEC Honor Roll is the most prestigious award for sustained, academic excellence in Texas.  It recognizes schools that have demonstrated three years of consistent, high performance in all subjects compared to other schools serving similar student populations.  Celeste Elementary has earned a place amongst schools that have the highest percentage of students performing at the state’s most rigorous standard-commended-in every subject, through hard work and student achievement.

Selected members of the school along with Mr. Collin Clark, Superintendent of CISD, will be traveling to Austin, TX on October 22, 2007 for the Awards Reception and Dinner where they will be bestowed with this prestigious honor.
