| Sherry Richison, a 1965 Celeste
graduate, was honored on Wed. June 3 for her many years of dedicated
service as secretary of Celeste Elementary. For years, parents and
visitors were greeted by Sherry's warm smile and courteous manner.
She was honored with a celebration for her retirement. Kindergarten
teacher, Jessica Morrow, surprised Sherry by picking her up from her
office on a four wheeler and entering the gym to the song, " Leader
of the Pack." She received a crown and was seated in a queen's
chair. Next, students from each grade level gave brief speeches of
thanks. In the grand finale, teachers danced and sang the song,
"Dancing Queen" in her honor. Sherry received many gifts from the
faculty and staff. Sherry and her husband, Bob, plan to travel. We
wish her the very best and we will miss her compassion and
dedication. |
