Celeste FFA Students
Advance to Area Competition
in District 4 FFA Leadership Contest!

The Celeste FFA participated in the District 4 FFA Leadership contest yesterday at Quinlan High School.  District 4 consists of all schools in Hunt and Kaufman counties. 

Misty Nixon participated in the Senior Creed Speaking contest and placed 7^th.

Haley Gray, Tyler LaFavers, and Tyler Shatto competed in the Radio Broadcasting contest and placed 5^th.

Stacia Stone, Cody Genson, Jennifer Moore, Jake Thompson, Ishmael Amaro, Caleb McCaslin, and Alisha Williford participated in the Greenhand Chapter Conducting Contest.  This is a contest featuring Parliamentary Law.  They placed 3^rd in a very tough contest, one place away from advancing to the Area competition

Jennifer Moore placed 1^st in the Greenhand Creed Speaking contest and will advance to the Area competition to be held on November 22 at Crowley High School.

Ashley Cairns placed 1^st in the Job Interview contest and will also advance to the Area Competition on November 22 at Crowley High School.

Congratulations to all of the participants and good luck to Jennifer and Ashley as they advance and compete at a spot for the State contest.
