Emergency Notification System

 

This registration is your personal access to FLASHALERT; Celeste ISD will not have access to your account information.  You will be responsible for maintaining your current information (i.e., email addresses, cell phone numbers).

 

To register, please follow these directions in detail:

 

  1. The Internet address is:  www.flashalert.net

 

  1. Click on the Dallas Button on the map.

 

  1. Click on Fannin and Hunt Co. Schools

 

  1. Click on Celeste ISD

 

  1. At the prompt enter your home e-mail address or cell phone number with the following address based on your cell phone service (participating companies are listed).

Text message address examples:
Cingular/AT&T: 10 digit cell number@txt.att.net

(example:  5552398646@txt.att.net)
Verizon: 10 digit cell number@vtext.com
T-mobile: 10 digit cell number@tmomail.net
Sprint: 10 digit cell number@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Nextel: 10 digit cell number@messaging.nextel.com
Qwest: 10 digit number number@qwestmp.com
Alltel: 10 digit number number@message.alltel.com

 

  1. At the prompt, reenter your home e-mail address or your cell phone address as listed above.

 

  1. Under Add an Organization select:  Dallas/Ft. Worth/North Central Texas

 

  1. Under Select choose:  Fannin and Hunt Co. Schools

 

  1. Under Select Organization choose:  Celeste ISD

 

  1. Click on the SUBSCRIBE BUTTON.  NOTE:  THIS IS IMPORTANT!  IF YOU DON'T DO THIS, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT WORK.

 

  1. Add up to FOUR additional addresses to receive emergency information, i.e., home computer e-mail address, cell phone address (follow directions posted), spouse office computer e-mail, etc.  Be sure and enter your CELL PHONE NUMBER PRIOR TO ENTERING THE @DOMAIN  OR IT WON'T WORK.  (See number 5 above for examples)

 

  1. Click on the RED LINE to send a test message.  One should appear within five minutes on your computers and your cell phone.

 

  1. Log out (last line on the left navigation bar.)

 

  1. Your registration is complete and you are ready to receive emergency messages; they will appear as "info@flashalert.net."
