Meet the Blue Devils Night 2008

There might have been an overcast sky with drizzling rain Tuesday night, but there was excitement at "Meet the Blue Devils Night".  Many students, parents and community members cheered as members of the Drum Corps, Dance Team, and Cheerleaders were introduced.  Athletic Director Mike Lipsey had the honor of introducing the 2008 Blue Devil Football Team and the Blue Devil Coaching staff.  High School Principal Ricky Beadles gathered all of the student athletes on the gym floor stating, "This is remarkable to see the large percentage of student participation, and it reflects school spirit, a positive attitude and parental involvement.  It was great to see everyone there."  The Celeste Booster Club celebrated the athletes with a watermelon feast following the introductions.  "Meet the Blue Devils Night" is destined to be an annual event as it provided a wonderful opportunity to meet the young people who proudly represent Celeste High School.
